Sunday Bloody Sunday

****Everybody knows what to do!

See you, space cowboy!

Another week going into space! I already can't stand this much heat in my life, all the boring classes of mechanics in college and the endless tests to correct the CAEd facility ( my new temporary job).

Anyway! Another typical summer ahead!

Counting the days to review some very special people in my life and continue certain plans forgotten during the "vacations".

Aaah yes! It was my mother's birthday yesterday! Happy Birthday for heeer! Yaaaay!

Also I can't wait to go back to rehearse with the band, take time to finish my RC models, to give a little jump on a desert and paradisiacal beach ! Apart from the carnival! Woohoo!

That's all folks! Then I try to post something decent here! That if I remember to post something after have some beers with some friends!

See you, space cowboy!

Music of the day

Live and Learn ( The Cardigans)

I came home in the morning
And everything was gone
Oh what have I done
I dropped dead in the hallway
Cursing the dawn
Oh come on sun
Why must I burn
I’m just trying to learn

I stared into the light
To kill some of my pain
It was all in vain
Cause no senses remain
But an ache in my body
And regret on my mind
But I’ll be fine

Cause I live and I learn
Yes I live and I learn
If you live you will learn
I live and I learn

Got kicked in the head
So I started a fight
Cause I knew I was right
But I learned I was wrong
I remember a slaughter
I remember I fought
For the money I brought
I got blistered and burned
And lost what I earned

But I live and I learn
Yes I live and I learn

I got, I got it now
She’s got, She’s got it now

I came to on a corner
With some help from a man and goddamn
I don’t seem to have learnt
That a lady in need is guilty indeed
So I paid and got laid in return
And I don’t know what I’ve learned

Well you get what you give
And hell yes I lived
But if you live as you learn
I don’t think I'd be learned
Oh with the sun in my eyes
Surprise, I’m living a life
But I don’t seem to learn
No I don’t think I can learn

Brazilian Pastel Recipe

It's not rocket science but I thing it's good enough to a newbie start to play in the kitchen!

Ingredients

500 g. flour
15 ml. sunflower or soybean oil
30 g. salt
100 ml. milk
5 g. baking powder

Preparation:

In a bowl pour the flour, baking powder, salt and oil. Add the milk slowly and mixing the pastry until you reach a consistency of modelling clay. At this point the pastry should be smooth and not stick to your fingers. In this case add more oil in small amounts until the optimum point where the dough will not stick fingers but still no greasy.

With a rolling pin, roll the pastel dough on a marble countertop, granite or similar, previously sprinkled with flour, until it has a thickness about 1 or 2 mm ( about 1/16").

Cut them in the desired format (I prefer circles of 10cm diameter) and place the desired filling (sweet or salty) in the center. Wet the edge with your finger and close the dough carefully pressing the closed border with a fork.

Fry in hot oil and serve.

Yield: 12 to 15 servings.

Receita de Pastel

Receitinha fácil pra começar!

Ingredientes:

Numa tigela despeje a farinha, o fermento, o sal e o óleo.

Rendimento: 12 a 15 porções.
